Optunity is a Python library designed for hyperparameter tuning in machine learning. It offers several distinct optimization approaches and includes helpful facilities like cross-validation and a variety of score functions. The library addresses the challenge of optimizing non-convex, non-smooth, and expensive-to-evaluate objective functions common in machine learning, such as tuning regularization or kernel parameters.
