NeRFs represent complex scenes as continuous volumetric scene functions using deep neural networks to synthesize novel views from sparse input images.
Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs) is a method that achieves state-of-the-art results for synthesizing novel views of complex scenes. It optimizes an underlying continuous volumetric scene function using a sparse set of input views. The algorithm represents a scene using a fully-connected (non-convolutional) deep network, taking a 5D coordinate (spatial location and viewing direction) as input and outputting volume density and view-dependent emitted radiance.
