Moses is a statistical machine translation system that allows users to automatically train translation models for any language pair.

Moses is an open-source statistical machine translation (SMT) system. It enables users to build custom translation models by providing a collection of translated texts (parallel corpus). The system then uses an efficient search algorithm to find the highest probability translation among numerous choices. The system supports both phrase-based and tree-based translation models, and features factored translation models for integrating linguistic and other information at the word level. It also allows decoding of confusion networks and word lattices, facilitating integration with ambiguous upstream tools like automatic speech recognizers or morphological analyzers. Moses is primarily a command-line executable and its source code is available on GitHub.
