Hermes Agent is an autonomous, open-source AI agent that lives on your server, learns over time, and automates tasks across various platforms.

Hermes Agent is an autonomous AI agent designed to operate independently on a user's server. Unlike coding copilots or chatbot wrappers, it features persistent memory, allowing it to learn from past interactions and improve its capabilities over time. It can be deployed across multiple communication platforms such as Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Signal, Email, and CLI. The agent supports scheduled automations using natural language for tasks like reports, backups, and briefings. It can delegate tasks to isolated subagents, which have their own conversations, terminals, and Python RPC scripts for parallel processing. Hermes Agent also offers robust sandboxing with five backend options (local, Docker, SSH, Singularity, Modal) and includes full web and browser control, vision, image generation, text-to-speech, and multi-model reasoning.
