ConvNetJS is a Javascript library for training deep learning models (neural networks) directly within a web browser.
ConvNetJS is a Javascript library designed for training Deep Learning models, specifically Neural Networks, entirely within a web browser environment. It eliminates the need for software installations, compilers, or GPUs, allowing users to begin training models simply by opening a browser tab. The library was initially developed by a Stanford PhD student and has since received community contributions.
The library supports common Neural Network modules, including fully connected layers and non-linearities. It offers classification (SVM/Softmax) and regression (L2) cost functions. Users can specify and train Convolutional Networks for image processing and utilize an experimental Reinforcement Learning module based on Deep Q Learning. The code is open-source on GitHub under an MIT license and is also available via npm for Node.js.
